Special guest Chef Bryant Terry with kids from the James Rhodes Kindergarten at the Nourishing Literacy class Culinary Literacy Center at the Parkway Central branch of the Free Library of Philadelphia.
Nourishing Literacy is the CLC's school-visit program, offering students and teachers food-based lessons that support classroom curriculum. Nourishing Literacy helps students make deeper connections between cooking, literacy, food, and nutrition. The class is a collaboration between the CLS and Honeypie Cooking's Shayna Marmar.
