Solas 2023

Solas means "light" in Irish. Each year at the Solas Awards, The Welcoming Center shines a light on the contributions immigrants have been making in our city and region. Last year, we came together for the first time in person since 2020 at Cherry Street Pier. This year we are thrilled to host Solas 2023 at World Cafe Live. As 2023 marks The Welcoming Center's 20th Anniversary, we are excited to recognize honorees that have been an integral part of our work over the years, as we come together to celebrate our community with live entertainment and networking!

Honorees
In celebration of the 20th anniversary of the founding of The Welcoming Center, we are honoring three individuals who, without their vision, dedication, and support, The Welcoming Center would not exist. We are thrilled to announce this year's honorees are: Anne O'Callaghan, Anuj Gupta, and Patrick Eiding.
