Groundbreaking ceremony for Centennial Commons

This event kicks off construction of the Centennial Commons: a project designed to create a more welcoming recreation area along the Parkside Avenue edge of West Fairmount Park with play spaces for kids and young people, seating and picnic areas, landscaping, a rain garden, and better access to the park for neighbors and visitors to nearby cultural institutions.
